Seniors Prep for College
As the school year winds down, Burris seniors are preparing for the next phase of their educational careers. Acceptance letters have been received and enrollment deposits sent, the next stage for the soon to be college freshmen remains preparation for the fall. “I’ve already been in contact with my roommates, “ said senior Hannah Clemmons, “Now I’m looking for dorm furniture and bedding.” Students are shopping early, accumulating basic supplies and necessities for college life. Shower caddies, towels, sheets, and laundry hampers list among the most basic of freshman year necessities. “I’m worried about fitting all of my clothes and stuff into my dorm room,” says senior Amelia Heintzelman. Not all students have been as focused on the future; “I’m just trying to get through the rest of the year,” said senior Lucas Parsons, attending Ball State University in the fall, “I’ll deal with college prep in the summer.”
