The A.P. and Film Literature classes took a field trip to the Cincinnati Museum Center to see the Cleopatra exhibit on Thursday, April 7. The exhibit started with an introductory film explaining the content of the exhibit and a brief biography on Cleopatra. "It was a cool way to begin the tour of the Cleopatra exhibit," Burris senior Alex Nancarrow said.
Once inside the exhibit, observers had the option to listen to audio devices explaining each artifact. There were statues and other artifacts that came from ancient Egypt. Maps and art depicting the life of Cleopatra covered the walls. Opinions on the tour differed among the students that went. "I thought that there would be more to look at," Burris senior Kylie Smith said. Burris Senior Austin Quinn thought differently. "The pieces were more interesting that the movie we watched," he said.
