Senior Trip 2011!

Seniors who attended the trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge left Burris on March 31st. The students arrived around 8:30 on Sunday, April 3rd. The students participated in a variety of events such as: Dixie Stampede dinner, Dollywood Amusement Park, shopping in Gatlinburg, Ripley's Aquarium, and relaxing time in the cabin. Students favorite activities varied greatly during the trip. Below are quotes from the senior's favorite activities.

Kylie Smith said, "My favorite part of the senior trip was when majority of the girls were downstairs by my room and just opening up about everything and really bonding for the last long time. I enjoyed talking to everyone and learning new stuff about the girls I've been with my whole life!"

Paige Chambers said, "My favorite part of the trip was going to the Ripley's mirror maze and mini golf with Kylie, Tanna, and Amelia Johnson."

Jen Watkins said, "My favorite part was Dollywood because I didn't expect to like it, but I had a fun day!"

Hannah Clemmons said, "My favorite part was the deck party and dancing with everyone."

Alison Carmichael said, "One of my favorite parts of the senior trip was feeling like I reconnected with a lot of people again."

Tanna Jones said, "My favorite memory was when a pigeon came into the caramel apple store and Kylie hit the pigeon with a toy dinosaur."

Lucas Parsons said, "I had a lot of fun playing hide-and-go-seek in the pitch black cabin."
