This past weekend the seniors went on their senior trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The seniors invested in quite a few activities. some of the activities they participated in were shopping in downtown Gatlinburg, hiking in the smoky mountains, Ripley's aquarium. Dollywood and Dixie Stampede.
On the trip there was a couple opportunities that the seniors could have participated in but they didn't have the chance to. They were not able to go white water rafting because it was to early in the year and it wasn't available. The hiking adventure was at an elevation of 6000 feet and it was quite chilly and many of them would have preferred to hike at ground level so they could enjoy the scenery more and not be as cold. The Sky Lift was a popular attraction in Gatlinburg that the seniors wanted to go to on but was rather expensive. Many attractions weren't available to the seniors because of the price or the weather conditions.
