The Obsession With Starbucks

What is the obsession with Starbucks? What about Starbucks catches peoples attention? We find that many of the students at Burris purchase Starbucks drinks on a daily basis, and with one located just a short distance away from Burris in the Ball State Student Center, it is very convenient for the students at Burris. "I am obsessed with Starbucks because it is amazing, and because it tastes amazing and just keeps me going. They make the drinks your way, and they are the best, " says Celeste Alexander, Junior. "I like the atmosphere and it is the kind of place that makes dreams come true in my stomach. Starbucks throws a party in my tummy! Sometimes i got there and just sit there so i can smell it," Sam Johnson, Sophomore, tells me. Many people use this as a way to wake up or just for pure enjoyment. Chelsea Carpender, freshmen, tells me, "Whenever i am having a bad day i like to go to Starbucks and it makes me feel alot better, and i have never had anything from there that i didn't like." "I go to Starbucks everyday and get a venti iced coffee with skim milk unsweetened, and it brightens my day! It also gives me alot of energy to do all the things i need to do," says Sarah Powell, Junior. Starbucks offers a variety of coffees, teas, and other selections that keep the students at Burris, and other people wanting more.
